While working in the print industry, I have been able to apply UX methodology to our products by solving production issues and giving my clients a positive experience. I began by asking the following questions: who is the client? What problems are they facing? What have we done in the past? What materials are we using? Where is the product going? What will the client do with the product? With the information I receive, I validate it and design a production file that my company and the client are happy with.
