Proper file setup ensures designs move smoothly from design to production, reducing errors, revisions, and delays.


Overview

I managed preflight and file setup to ensure artwork was accurate, print-ready, and aligned with production requirements. This included verifying color, resolution, safety margins, and dielines, correcting issues, and preparing final files for output to support a smooth handoff to press.


Clients: Levis, Tommy, Burger King, Nickey, Sketchers, Kraft, McDonalds, Peets, Naf Naff, Facebook, Linkedin, etc.



Responsibilities:

  • Reviewed files for color accuracy, resolution, bleed, trim, and safety areas

  • Verified ICC profiles, print specs, and linked assets 

  • Identified and corrected layout, scaling, and transparency issues 

  • Ensured proper setup of dielines, varnish, and spot colors  

  • Delivered clean, organized, production-ready files

  • Acrobat Pro (Preflight tools)
